Bookings in My Place & Midleton Community & Recreational Centre (MCRC)

Due to the diversity of groups and organisations who require different set-ups for their activities or services, My Place and MCRC staff are very experienced in advising about and preparing for our clients’ activities. From one-to-one sessions or events requiring 150 seats, My Place has the venue and staff to cater for any event to cater for your needs.

In the case of MCRC, we can offer the Sports hall or half of same for your event. We also have a classroom-sized space available in MCRC that is suitable for one-off full day or multi-day events.

In both centres we cater for 3 types of Renter:

The Weekly Renter

This is a client/organisation who books a room for a period of time on a weekly or monthly basis.

The Ad Hoc Renter

This is a client/organisation who uses a room on a irregular basis. This allows for flexible room choice and only necessitates the completion of one booking form. This allows My Place to save your details such as insurance, price agreed and room dynamic. The Ad hoc renter contacts the office to check availability and confirm rooms.

The One-Off Renter

This is a client/organisation who requires a room or space for a one-off event. This event could be anything from an AGM to a theatre production. In the case of MCRC, we can offer the Sports hall or half of same. It is the only centre where we can offer a one-off full or multi-day event.
